John D. Correnti

Executive Chairman

Mr. Correnti, chairman and chief executive officer of Steel Development Company LLC, joined Calisolar’s Board of Directors as chairman in 2010. He has nearly forty years of operations, management, and board experience in the steel industry, serving at both large and small companies. He was a pioneer in the re-birth of the U.S. steel industry in 2003, founding SeverCorr, where as president and CEO he grew the company to more than $1 billion in annual revenues in just five years by utilizing low-cost mini mills to produce low-cost, high-quality steel used in the automotive and building industries. Mr. Correnti also served as chairman and CEO of Birmingham Steel and as vice chairman, president, and CEO of Nucor Corporation.

Neil Auerbach

Mr. Auerbach, the founder and managing partner at Hudson Clean Energy Partners, joined Calisolar’s Board of Directors in 2011. Formerly, Mr. Auerbach was a Partner at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he co-founded the U.S. alternative energy investment business within the Special Situations Group and led several of Goldman’s most successful investments in renewable energy. Mr. Auerbach founded and managed several other businesses at Goldman during his seven year tenure with the firm, supervising over 30 professionals in the U.S. and Europe, and presiding over a $3 Billion balance sheet. Mr. Auerbach worked in the firm’s Debt Capital Markets and Credit Derivatives units before joining the Special Situations Group in December 2003.

Craig Cornelius

Mr. Cornelius, a managing director at Hudson Clean Energy Partners, joined the Calisolar Board of Directors in 2008. He is a recognized leader in the solar industry and has served as the program manager of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Solar Energy Technologies Program, where he led the creation of the $1.5 billion Solar America Initiative.

Daniel Gross

Mr. Gross, an investment partner at Hudson Clean Energy Partners, joined the Calisolar Board of Directors in 2009. He has extensive experience in solar investments, participating in deals with well-known industry companies including SunEdison, First Solar, and Solar Integrated Technology.

Terry Jester

Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Jester, a 30-year veteran of the solar industry, joined Calisolar in 2010 following her active involvement in the company as Entrepreneur in Residence at Hudson Clean Energy. She has extensive experience in the manufacturing and engineering of photovoltaics and led efforts to ramp up manufacturing operations to full production for a variety of photovoltaic technologies including silicon cell-based photovoltaics. Ms. Jester has managed large solar operations and held engineering positions at SoloPower, SunPower, SolarWorld, Siemens, Arco and Shell. She holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Northridge.

David Berkowitz

Mr. Berkowitz, a general partner at Ventures West, joined Calisolar’s Board of Directors in 2010 following the merger with 6N Silicon, where he served on the board. He leads the Ventures West cleantech practice, investing in energy, water, and advanced materials processing technologies. As a result of his success in energy-related investments, including Cellex Power Products, Greenlight Power Technologies, TIR Systems, Serveron and Astropower, Mr. Berkowitz is one of the most respected cleantech investors in Canada.
