Delivering High Performance Cells
Calisolar produces solar cells that convert sunlight directly to electricity. Our cells are durable, high quality and meet rigorous industry standards. Our current manufacturing process produces cells with average efficiencies well above 16 percent, and the cells are rapidly gaining acceptance in the solar market.
Streamlining the Value Chain
We are able to manufacture high performance cells cost effectively by vertically integrating the manufacturing steps. The application of Calisolar technology at each critical step in the process reduces waste, increases yield, lowers overhead, increases process control, and reduces the time from initial silicon purification to the final cell processing step.
Building a Global Company
We currently export to producers of high-quality modules in North America, Asia, and Europe. We have manufacturing and R&D operations in the strategically important solar markets of California; Ontario, Canada; and Germany.
